OBEC celebrates one year anniversary
The Oregon Broadband Equity Coalition (OBEC) is celebrating it's one year anniversary. OBEC was officially launched on February 22, 2024 with the purpose of connecting people, communities and organizations to help bridge the digital divide in Oregon.
Every month, OBEC members meet to discuss and collaborate on digital equity issues such as: accessibility, affordability, devices, security and digital skills. Meetings also include presentations, professional development and resource sharing. Membership is free and open to the general public.

The OSU Broadband & Digital Adoption Team welcomes Christina Berger as a Broadband & Digital Adoption Regional Coordinator. Christina is a passionate advocate for digital equity, broadband access, and community empowerment. Based in Grants Pass, Oregon, Christina has spent years advancing broadband and digital inclusion efforts both locally and nationally.
