Governor Tina Kotek has appointed Polk County Commissioner Jeremy Gordon to represent Oregon counties on the Oregon Broadband Advisory Council (OBAC).
Jeremy Gordon is a Polk County Commissioner and former mayor of Falls City. He spent most of his professional career in higher education administration, helping to launch an online competency-based degree program for the University of Wisconsin addressing workforce gaps in nursing, health services, and information technology. With his colleagues, Jeremy helped oversee the Polk County Rural Broadband Project and looks forward to working with partners across the state to close the digital divide.
