OSU launches statewide Oregon AI K-12 Collaborative

By Victor Villegas on Feb. 27, 2025

Oregon State University recently started the AI Oregon K-12 Collaborative, a statewide collaborative helping connect administrators, educators (formal and informal) and others involved in K-12 education to help share AI resources and best practices.

An initial, virtual listening session was held in January 2025, followed by an official launch meeting on February 19, 2025. Participants in these two meetings included representatives from multiple school districts in Oregon, Oregon STEM hubs, Oregon STEM, OSU College of Education, Oregon Department of Education and OSU Extension

The collaborative will be holding monthly meetings through the rest of the 2025 school year (March-May) and continue again through the 2025-26 school year (Sept. 2025-May 2026). Meetings are hosted by OSU Extension and are open and free to attend.
