Oregon is advancing a bold, collaborative effort to strengthen our current and future AI-enabled workforce—and your voice is essential.
A statewide team representing the State of Oregon is leading a National Science Foundation (NSF) AI-Ready proposal to establish a coordinated hub for workforce development. This effort brings together the Technology Association of Oregon (TAO), the Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC), Oregon State University, Mount Hood Community College, Eastern Oregon University, and Oregon STEM to shape a shared, inclusive vision for Oregon’s AI-ready future.
📣 We invite your participation
👉 Please take a few minutes to complete this brief statewide survey.
Your input will help map the breadth of organizations, industries, and capabilities across Oregon — informing how we convene partners, share information, and advance inclusive workforce solutions. The survey collects organizational (not personal) information, is publicly shareable, and is optional except for basic contact details where noted.
By participating, you help ensure your organization is represented in statewide planning and partner convenings.
🤝 Why your input matters
Our shared goal is to develop a proposal that authentically reflects Oregon’s full ecosystem. This depends on the leadership and partnership of organizations like yours to:
- Shape priorities and opportunities
- Document statewide needs
- Contribute essential expertise and perspective
- Strengthen the credibility and impact of the proposal
🗓️ Additional ways to engage
We are building multiple avenues for participation beyond the core drafting team. Survey responses, listening sessions, and follow-up conversations will directly inform proposal development.
